Chili Chase 10K & Cook-off

2018 Chili Chase 10K Race Results are now available. Click here for official times and photos.

It’s chili + running, but not in that order! Our 8th Annual Chili Chase will now be a very hilly 10K through the Overend Mountain Park in Durango. Proceeds from the race will benefit the San Juan Mountains Association’s efforts to promote the responsible use of natural and cultural resources. After the race, all runners will receive a free entry into the chili cook-off featuring 20+ dishes from local businesses and organizations.

Starting in Iris Park, the new 10K route crosses Roosa Ave. and climbs up Ella Vita Ct. From there, the course winds through the Overend Mountain Park via Spirit Trail, Hogsfoot, Star Wars, Graben's Loop, and Ned's Hill. Circling back, the Chili Chase 10K finishes in Iris Park.
